Anybody else have Mercedes dreams?

Last night, I had a dream that I was getting the mail and found a surprise... I had won some contest I was unaware of and the prize was an oil filter and a secondary filter from some company that had partnered with 3M. The best partners that right on the box, they had pictures of the filter innards, and there it was... the cleanest, tightest-packed cotton you've ever seen. I was so happy... alas, it was but a dream.

Jooseppi, you don't aim very high in your dreams! Filters?? ;)

Did you miss the oil filter fights from last week? You thought oil threads were bad... :D

probably not what you meant but...

my most vivid mercedes dream:

I was in the E300, driving too fast on a twisty gravel road by the ocean when I lost control, skidded into the water & sank. I got myself out but couldn't reach the dogs in the back seat. I went from joy to terror in an instant, woke up covered in sweat & couldn't/didn't want to go back to sleep that night.

yes, I drove slower after that, particularly when not on dry pavement;)

I had various dreams of accidentally driving our sprinter into the lake near our house or other nearby bodies of water and it somehow floating long enough to get to the other side and drive it out. I swear I had that happen at least 5 times in various dreams.

are we talking Mercedes-Benz the brand? or Mercedes the stripper?

Just about every night I have mercedes dreams, usually about the cars I own which aren't running. The dreams are incredibly vivid and always just a bit alarming. Ironically I've never dreamt of any of my newer Mercedes.

A loong time ago I dreamed of a " Miami Vice Kingpin Kit" for my cd,

Today I finished the work on the front mold. Tommorrow,, if the cold is not too brutal ill pull the model out of it and destroy it--- cant let those sneaky chinese have a chance to shanghi it and start their cheap knockoffs of my not so cheap knockoff!

Yep! I usually have nightmares though.

For example, I was driving on the highway and I noticed I had no oil pressure. I freaked out and pulled off, but then I had oil pressure at idle. When I revved the engine, oil pressure went DOWN instead of up. I was very distraught about that. Of course being in the dream I didn't realize that was nonsense and it scared the hell out of me.

In another I had a grind every single time I shifted gears. I hate gear grind sounds. :(

Those two dreams come up every few months. It's terrifying when I have the oil pressure dream! :o

I dreamed I shook Prez O's hand the other day.

I have nightmares of working on BMW's and Volvos:eek:.

I used to dream about G wagons.

Now I dream about pre merger AMG's, usually 040 black 500SL's with 5 speed manuals and color coded amg pentas...

I need a salary job...

John ---

Our minds might think the same. When I see a post like yours, I immediately think of a picture I took and posted years ago at:

Here's the pic for those of you who don't want to go back to 2009 --- :)

my wife used to have dreams we were driving around in a white benz. then about a year later she saw one on clist and cried  to get me to go look at it. we bought it, and i sold my favorite vehicle to make space, and the wife drove the benz a total of about 8 times untill she passed a couple of weeks ago. wtf.

i still love her.

OK, I had another dream last night in which a thread deviated to discussing parts quality. Gerryvz said that URO stinks and made reference to "Chinese" brands as junk, but also conceded something that I cannot remember (rats!). Zacharias then responded to Gerry's comment and said that he was surprised to see Gerry's concession because of how strident he had been in the past but then chided him for being a snob about "Chinese parts".

I need help.
