w123 Front suspension rebuild - 2014 edition

Topic is just that. Probably want to do guide rod mounts on my 82 300CD, so proably will want to do LCA bushings and anything else sensible at the same time. I did shocks and the full array of tie rods and idlers for the steering. Anything else though needs to be done.

How much am I looking at from a dealer or an indy in 2014?

Any takers to do it in NJ/PA

$700 dealer plus their parts( high side ),$400 indy plus your parts( high side),best ball park ,dealer always gives 3 ways for you to pay for 4 ,in other words ,expect other charges or services offered. In my experience on a service rider job, price for parts were always doubled (for replacement time under warrenty if needed) ,and jobs were projected hrly, estimated under a service cad system .An indy wont mind you bringing your parts ,a dealer will.If an Indy is local promise him more business from you ,he might discount the job .LCAs require bench time $$$$,its not just spinning wrenches .Let us know what your getting back as estimates.

The last one I did was about $1,000 including parts (Lemfoerder whenever possible). You could drive it to CA and I can do it for you.
