Hmm

I may have to acquire one of those. It states +/- 2% accuracy.

I have access to a metrology/calibration lab at my work.

I might have to pay our calibration guy a visit and buy him lunch and have him put that thing on his test rig.

Problem with it is the minimum torque is 40 Nm...lot's of things, especially delicate ones require less torque than that. Otherwise pretty cool.

I have a Powerbuilt version of that HF torque adapter. I don't use it for any jobs, but only to check how accurate my torque wrenches are. If I see they are off, I will send it in for calibration.

I wonder why it's only good to 40... I thought it was a 3/8" version... my 1/2" version is only good to 35ish NM, my 3/8" clicker goes down to 18ish the funny thing is the mention of the 1/4" adapter that comes with the tool... WFT good is a 1/4" adapter on a tool that only measures down to 40nm? that would SNAP any 1/4" drive tool...

Eastwood carries one that has a bit more useable range. (20-200Nm) Which is 3/8" and 1/2" drive range. I haven't seen one that truly is in the 1/4" drive range. Maybe someone will come up with something more useable in the 5-150Nm range or even 5-100Nm.
