Diesel Purge from FastLane?

How do I order Diesel Purge through FastLane? Is fuel return cigar hose what goes from injector to injector on an 81 SD?

Thanks,
Sixto

The "cigar hose" is called that because it looks like a cigar. It is smaller at both ends than it is towards the middle. The inner diameter is the same through out the hose, it's just the outside diameter changes. It goes from the fuel filter housing to steel line going back to the tank.
As for diesel Purge, you might find it under "accessories", when you bring up the online catalog.

sixto,
I dont know what fastlane calls those hoses, but 1/8'' GM lines did the trick for mine.

sixto,

I don't think FastLane sells purge.....I tried to buy it from them. Seems parts shop does but only by the case!

Performance Products sells a can for $10 but you gotta pay to have it shipped of course. I don't know where you can purchase locally, maybe a large truck stop. Not in my city unfortunately.

I just did the purge thing and it was kinda messy. must think it through and have little plugs (round pencils work well) for lines that leak. If it was gas I'd be dead by now for sure.

if you didn't get your diesel purge yet ...

I got two cans from partsshop.

One was identified as "LM diesel purge" the other was something like "2005". One can cost 9.95 and the other was 6.00.

When the package arrived, there were two identical cans inside.

Sort of like a diesel purge sale at partsshop (search on key word purge, you should get three return lines).

I hope you are enjoying the windy weather, and let me know if you know of an 86 or 87 sdl in the bay area for sale.

surfblau,

There's a white/grey one at cars.com, East Bay, I think. I'd much prefer that color combo to my gold/palomino. Wanna trade?

yeah, I have been watching that one

The chrome wheels didn't really work for me. White isn't my color either. Plus it looked like it was at a dealer of some sort- I was hoping to get one from a fastidious private party who got too old to drive it anymore or else bought a new lexus.

I like the gold ones though...
