They will cover the latch provide I pay to get the tail gate rear glass fixed, they tell me it's leaking. The quote I got was 800$ to re seal the glass and replace the 3rd brake light it's cracked I am told. I have Never used a dealer I have done all my maintenance can sone one tell me if the rear glass should be covered can they refuse to change the latch unless I get the other items done their please advice, is the Warranty a way to get us in to be fleeced.....????? 100000km Canada 2008. |

Go to another dealer. If I took mine and and they found the rear glass leaking, I would demand that is covered under warranty too - clearly a workmanship issue.

Read the terms in the warranty. All the fine print. That should add some clarification.

With the miles I'm assuming it's some kind of extended warranty correct? Is it a MB warranty or some third party? |

The dealer may consider the rear glass seal as a "normal wear" item. I would also make contact with MBUSA Customer Relations in Montvale, New Jersey.
