I think it's a Japanese site.

I've been wondering about this myself. I can't seem to find decent W123 shift knobs (automatic). I think I'm just going to fabricate one myself by removing the rubber knob from the shaft of a standard shift knob.

Then I'll see how the newer shift knobs fit into the new shafts and maybe I can figure something out.
(The newer shift knobs im talkin about are those W140,W210, etc shift knobs that aren't fixed with the shaft)

Do a search on Google for "shift knobs".

I have been thinking about making custom shift knobs out of Mesquite....with individualized logos on them.....out of inset turquoise..... but don't know about trying the non round style.. don't know how they fasten to the shaft.... Greg

I'd be happy with a new wood piece that fits at the base of the shifter knob. Like the one in the top picture of the link given above, with the window and fader switches in it. Mine looks terrible. Where can I get one of those?

Michael,

You can either visit the local bone yard in the hopes that you'll find one in better condition...or

Get lucky and score one on E-Ghey.

or...contact this guy. He'll either have one on hand he can sell you or you can send him yours and he'll refinish to BETTER than new condition.

or...maybe someone on this forum will have one for sale.

I think that you can buy them new from MBZ...not positive tho. If you can, it'll prolly be the most expensive option of the ones I listed.

Well, I finally found one place that has them.

Look here and go down to the second to last item on the page.

Found another place here for only $59! I've emailed them to see if they have them for my model.

I'm still looking for others tho...

Bill,

Thanks! I looked all over their online catalog but didn't see it anywhere. What's the PP part # for one?
I've got my info in for a catalog...look forward to it.

The wood/leather combo sounds NICE! Little pricey tho.

Bill, I actually have seen prices for those kind of steering wheels....for that much money, I'd rather have all my wood refinished in Burlwood
