rear end rebuild or sell for parts

Been driving the car since the big snow storm here in the ATL. On further review I believe I bent one or more of arms on the passenger side rear.

Option 1: rebuild part or all of the passenger side + bearing
Option 2: rebuild passenger and driver side.

Option 3: sell to someone who wouldn't mind parting out a 2.5 d with 344K miles and transmission has about 60K after rebuild by a good independent German Car shop. The engine still starts even with the glow plugs on the fritz this cold winter. It takes a few minutes of cranking when cold but starts right up on a 50+ degree morning

What is the difficulty of the rear end rebuild?

IMO

A total rear end rebuild is 5 - 8 hours for me, this includes all bushings/mounts, wheel bearings, shocks, and multi link suspension.

It excludes brake, axle shaft replace/reboot, differential rebuild.

Swapping a good used rear end assembly is roughly 2.5 - 5 hours, depending on corrosion.

I don't think it's worth it. Keep this one as a parts car and find a lower mileage example with a bad transmission and use the rebuilt one to make a good car.

What else needs to be done? I don't consider mileage, only "dollars till fixed". Even then I'll fix something more than financial analysis would dictate. It is more of a decision about am I willing to make the change. The fix is by definition worth it to me if I do it. I'm more likely to put time in than money to buy a mechanic's time.
