California car and don't have the valves on the valve cover, but i do have the EGR valve and all that nonsense, i bypassed all that when i did the vacuum hoses.

Still having some weird vacuum issues i think the one way valve is messed up and need to try changing it, I also realized after i pulled them out that they little orange pieces are actually orifaces and I need to put them back in to see it that will change my shifting at all, it really kicks hard when it shifts.

I will also be pulling my cluster soon to upgrade, and change out the RPM gauge.

The clock on the replacement gauge actually works. This is my 5th Mercedes so the PnP gauge/clock is my 6th clock. It is the 1st one to actually work. Of course I bought the capacitors to fix it, before hooking it up to 12v to see if it worked.

I bought acrylic titanium white paint to paint inside the instrument bulb holders to increase reflectivity.

I want to replace all the bulbs, but finding the 1.2w bulbs locally is not going to happen. So I guess I'll order them.

I will R&R the dimmer, or jumper it.

Here is the way to make a good ground for the cluster:

You may be chasing your tail, attempt to isolate the problem areas.
