That is a good question. I have not personally tried it, so I don't know for sure. If I had another '85, I would surely try it.

The CA emissions '85 starter has the solenoid on the bottom, so it is the only odd-ball of all the models from '69 to '85.

It is hard to tell, but is that a Federal starter and heat shield? If the heat shield was not there, I might not have asked the former question.

Rollguy, I'm interested in buying one of your trap oxidizer bypass pipes. I'm also looking for the flexible tube that goes between the turbo outlet and the exhaust down pipe. My number is six one nine five seven three four five two three and my email is mglatfelterjr-at-yahoo.com

Thank you, Mike G.

New batch of pipes in stock

My normal pipe bender could not bend the pipes, so I had the original fabricator use mandrel bends for them on this batch. They are made like the first batch, with two pieces of mandrel bent mild steel tubing. The cost is $160 + $20 P/H/I. As usual, they come with bolts, gaskets, and EGR plate and hardware.

ROLLGUY, are your bypass kits still available? I probably won't be able to order one right away if they are, but if like to make sure that they are before I set aside money for it. Email is patrickschwendeman@hotmail.com if you'd like to go through there.
