They tolerate me. They're all very nice people there and I help them out with their car issues occasionally.

They're, there, and their all in one sentence!

Just as an update. I have a few inquiries on my W124 in question here and locally.
I have it listed in the classifieds section here and will update with new pictures once I get them tomorrow.

Enjoy your weekend gentlemen.

Starting to pull it apart.

Still feel sore from the impact but life goes on. I have listed the TD in parts section with pics. NO prices yet. Taking offers. I also have it listed in Cars for sale as I would prefer to sell the whole thing. We are getting ready to sell our home here in Arlington, Va and purchase an Organic farm in Honaunau, Hi. We are so busy getting ready, there is no time for distractions.

We will be taking one of our much loved benzs with us (W123). Expect updates.

In the meantime I have linked the parts thread in my signature.

Thankfully you walked away.

I have to ask, does the rear driver door open and close?

Thank you. I really do appreciate the kind sentiments from forum members.

Yes, the right rear door opens and closes. These cars are amazing. We will forever be transporting ourselves in a Mercedes. I hope to never again perform a another durability test.

This particular car was sitting in front of a house right around the corner from a main street. The out-of-control vehicle rounded the corner and wasn't expecting a car to be sitting there and WHAM!

This happened to my neighbor's SVX and our Jetta. I've sure you've seen the video. Perhaps I should leave the Benz there so it gets hit and totaled. Then I wouldn't have to keep fixing it

Thank you.

Tombance: Holy cow. What happened? Was the road blocked with a horse and buggy and you got into over steer and plugged the wall? (then the rear proceeded to 'come about')

Not good, but glad you were ok. If not ego battered.

That's one way to access the flex disks.

Lost the back end on an ice patch going around that bend. Fish-tailed a couple of times before finally going into the wall.

Then I guess a tire dug into the grass and it went over.

I like to think if it happened now I would have the skills to catch it, but at the time I was quite new to rear wheel drive and the massive 94hp of the 250D had never caused me problems before.
