How do I delete the EGR

93 300D, I want to totally remove the EGR from my 2.5. I think I'm still getting a little leak by on it after I've disconnected both vacuum cans. Is there another egr less intake around?

To delete the EGR on your car you need to do the wastegate conversion.

BUUUUUUUzzzzzz! (Obnoxiously loud Basket ball Buzzer)

Well... Maybe (?)

If you think the EGR is "Hanging Up" because of NASTY BUILD UP OF CARBONIZED "GOO":
[About a 90% certainty]

The Wastegate "Conversion" IS the only sane and EASY solution!

Unplug the right vacuum lines and the turbo will shut down on a 90-93. They have vacuum actuated waste gates tied into the EGR system. Either get it working or do a wastegate conversion. On early cars yes, unplug the EGR and its done.

I might have somebody's hillbilly engineering in there. I have both cans disconnected and the TC boosts.

This is odd. Are you able to confirm that the vacuum network on the passenger side of the engine is actually connected to the pump? Perhaps the mod was already done on your car....it's at least a possibility.

I had the top manifold piece off and the intake hose off as well and it wasn't blowing and the turbine was just idling along. fixed the vac and reved it up and it started blowing like a leaf blower
