Just wanted to let those who remember me know that I'm still alive and well. Sold my beautiful '85 300TD a couple years ago for financial reasons but still driving the 240 with the 4 speed that was given to me. My daily driver!

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
