My 96 e300 coolant leak info
Got the belly pans off.
Poured water in the reservoir. Water ran out a few drops on the driver side of the torque converter but most ran down the driver side of the transmission near the front end of the oil pan. So I assume this means heater core or hoses leading to heater core. How do I access this area? Is this likely the source of my overheating issue or just the collateral damage? Any test I can run with a reasonable amount of labor?

After more research I want to:
Inspect hoses to and from the washer fluid, Get access to the behind the firewall by removing the drain pans and wiper etc. Likely the leak is coming from a low point in the system based on what I have observed. It is big.
