96 e300 coolant leak update - including source
SO I found the source of my leak. The coolant hose on the inside of the firewall from the heater core return popped off. I did notice steam coming from that side before the coolant was low and it went to overheating. Does something have to be blocked for that to pop off or maybe just eventually wiggled off? Have I found the root of the problem or do I need to look deeper?

Coolant leak has been resolved and system filled with pre-diluted Zerex G-05. Will watch the hose to make sure it doesn't pop off again but I have a screw driver and gallon of pre-diluted G-05 just in case.
