Well, I bought my 300SD a few years ago with the intent to restore it and make it a daily driver. The thing is a tank. 263k miles, hardly any blowback, strong OM617 engine, decent interior. I replaced the exhaust system from the "cat-back" and put in a brand new starter motor.

Unfortunately, I have since joined the military and started law school, and now there is simply no time to work on it. It's just sat in it's half restored state. It needs brake work, some body work, and a new set of tires. I decided that it should go to an enthusiast who can put it to use before these cars go extinct.

I don't have time to really try to sell it for another month when finals are over.

I guess this is a "feeler" post. Is anyone in New England (I am in central MA) looking for either an SD to restore or for parts?

For the right price I'm sure someone will take it.
A good SD goes for $2000.00 depending on your location (I'm not sure of MA market).
I'm sure it'd go for half that.

What would you want for it? About where in central MA are you?

Is there a lot of rust?
