...'79 300SD 116 Chassis Wiper Motor Question...

...Hi,... I have a a '79 300SD 116 Chassis that the wiper assembly has frozen up in... ...The car is in a remote location so I thought I would pick one up from a self service wrecking yard while I am in Los Angeles...($15)... ...I have located a '73/'74 450SEL 116 chassis...

...First question,...are the wiper motors in these two cars identical including the wiring???...

...Second question,...I have the wiper motor mechanically disconnected from the wrecking yard car,...but even though the majority of the dash is disassembled I am having trouble finding where the wiper motor assembly plugs in...

...My thinking is if the assemblies are the same it might be easiest to cut the wiring from the new motor and splice it to the existing cable in my SD...

...Thanks in advance,...Willie B...
