W123 new A/C compressor noise
I replaced my A/C compressor recently and recharged it back up. It was previously switched to R134 a long time ago. When I recharged it back up, it blows cool (not cold) and the compressor makes a noise. Would this be too much or not enough refrigerant? It only does it when the compressor engages. Otherwise it is quiet. Belt is good too and not too lose or too tight.

It came prefilled with oil. Some dripped out while I was installing the lines though. Seems there is now way to not have some come out while connecting the lines.

Ok, I'm gonna be "that guy..."
Are you sure that's the compressor making the noise and not something else in the belt path? Did you add the r134a back by recommended weight? Is the compressor new or a reman?
