I have been looking through the various forum threads and got confused.

Are the 350SDL motor mounts different from the ones used on the other W126 models?

Some say yes, others say 123 and 126 mounts are identical.

Can someone with experience in this car or who knows the mounts tell me for sure?

I believe they are unique to the W126, but the same for all 603 equipped cars... IE the same as a 300SDL. When I got a new pair last year they were still readily available.

They are the same as the 300sdl motor mounts. When I swapped my 3.5 for a 3.0, the mounts did not require swapping or modification.
