Weird Tranny Shift
 

I bought an 85 300SD and have been going all over the little problems. Now I have a new one please help. When I bought it the car would not go over 50mph. So I adjusted valves(don't know how it ran),Changed Fuel filters, adjusted alda, and adjusted all of the linkage it would not move to full throttle. I also cleaned the banjo fitting for the boost control. But now with regular acelaration it seems to slip into 3rd gear. Floor it and it shifts right. Help. Also I still have vacum problems with door locks. One does not lock and one locks when unlocked or locks when unlocked. Help!! Have other problems for latter. Got 26MPG my first tank of fuel. :)

It sounds like the doorlock in question has reversed vacuum hoses. Easy enough to remedy. Door panels come off relatively easy. Do searches on various related topics and you shall find. These have all been discussed at great length in this forum. Good luck.
