201 seats in a 124?
Can you put W201 power seats in a W124? I realize the W201 seat is different, its narrower. But are the tracks narrower? And will the power connections plug and play?
I figured this would be cut and dry on google, but its mostly people telling people who have asked this question that since they personally are too fat for a W201, they think its a bad idea and offer no additional insight. There is a 201 at the junkyard with a really nice pair of red seats in it and the drivers seat in my 87 300D is beginning to reveal it has 260k on it. I have several 201s and personally like the narrower, more supportive 89-93 201 seat. But if it requires excessive modifications I'm not sure I'm willing to devote the time.

I tried this when I replaced my 92190e with the 87 300d. The frame rails that mount to the floor are a different shape and different distance apart. I'm sure given enough time and resoursed its possible but its more than I was willing to put into it.
