Hey Gang,

Last eve I replumbed my power steering to include a cooler (32" 4x4 tires), and decided to put in a new PS filter.

I was letting it slowly drain whilst fishing for the old with a screwdriver, and imagine my surprise when I found: A plate, a spacer and a bottom centering plate; all factory in appearance, in lieu of a filter...


I wish I would have checked it earlier, man was there a lot of sludge...



What are your guys' experiences with this?

(Certainly a heads up to check for the people that haven't looked!)
