Harbor Freight Model 42820 Long Frame Floor Jack repair kit

I have the HF long body floor jack as the title says.
It is a great jack for getting the car up high. Lifts to 32". You have to have very good large jacks, to do this safely and do the lift in 2 stages. It does allow working under the car comfortably.
But alas it is starting to give me problems. Leaks
Of course Harbor freight does not support it anymore.
My research has found that the unit is built by Torin in China.
Can't get parts from Harbor Freight, but American Airlines is starting to fly to Shanghai on June 11th. I now fly the 777 which will go to Shanghai.
The sales center is about 50 miles away from downtown Shanghai. So I figured a trip might be necessary.

Through additional research I come to find out that American Forge Foundry has this model as an active unit.

Rebuild kit is part number 2110AKRK

Go to the web site and find a local service center. They should be able to order the rebuild kit for you OR rebuild it for you

This info is accurate as of 5May2014

I'm going to have Hydraulic Sales and Service of Dallas rebuild the unit for me. I called him and he said the part is an active part. If their are any problems I will post the info.

Rebuilt a Sears model floor jack recently. Disassemble and measure the assortment of O-rings. Purchased replacements at a local industrial supply place for around $5. Cleaned everything and reassembled and it works great.
