Brake lines: PEX or Bendix?

I need new brake lines on my car and saw these brands are on this list: 500E / E500 Parts Vendor Quality List
and the PEX lines aren't much cheaper but would save me about $4 on the set of 4 and would mean one less order to make. I do recognize the Bendix brand, but not PEX.

I think I've had PEX before. Seemed good to me buit I've been adapting all my cars over to stainless steel lines. $40 per axle isnt that bad if you ask me.

Deerfield Precision

These are very nicely made hoses. I've got them on 3 cars so far.

pex makes various parts for the w123 and other models i'm sure. i've used pex brake pad sensors and the hoses and they are fine. they make balljoints and i'm not sure if i'd use them for that.

I bought some pex wheel cylinders for my VW GTI and they were very poor quality. The metal was cheap and poorly cast and one of them came with an already stripped out bleeder screw. I ended up sending them back and buying a different brand. on the other hand though I also bought pex e-brake cables at the same time and they seemed like good quality and I think they may have even been made in Germany.

Recieved the Bendix lines today. Made in China. However, they look to be very high quality. I guess time will tell.
