W126 AC pressure and temp switch question

All,

I am ready to button my AC system back up but I am having trouble finding the correct temperature switch with a 9.5mm connector to attach to the drier. I am using a newly purchased Behr drier and I have what seems like the old style 6mm switch that I also bought new but does not fit. This is the switch with the wires that come out of it.

I see the two different switches available with different threads but I was hoping to have this thing buttoned up and charged today. I called the dealer and they only have the 6mm version. PP has the correct one part number: 004-820-68-10-M58 but I am having trouble finding something compatible locally.

What car did the dryer go to? I'm unaware of the issue...

These are all W126 parts. The parts are used in other chassis as well. The new Behr driers only have 9.5mm threaded holes for the two switches. The older style driers had a 6mm port for the temp switch.

While we are on the subject, I want to express how much I would like for the design of these switches to allow for replacement without having to discharge the entire system. Some US designs have a Schroeder valve under the switch so it can be removed and replaced without discharging.
