So, after a full morning of yanking parts, all I came home with was the radiator and expansion tank (still needs to be tested), master cylinder and booster, battery tray, grille frame, rear driver side arm rest, nice Alpine dash speakers, all 4 door strikers, three window motors, and two window regulators that still need to be inspected for operation and straightness, the little plastic console hook that holds down the back of the console wood, the power antenna motor and one aluminum 14" bundt wheel.

All the other wheels were bent or badly curb damaged.

When I got home, I noticed the power antenna motor had a bullet hole on the back of the case. Can these be rebuilt?

My plastic tab was missing when I got my 240D, the entire console in the 300 was missing, but the found the common broken piece laying in the floor pan. What luck! I'm going to try working it into mine.

You can't beat free, and the time spent with a good friend stripping the parts was great. I also learned a lot about the w123. Thanks everyone for the tips. I'll post picks shortly.

As far as the parts car, if the dash is cracked free, you should take it. As well as going back for the hood hinges, door check strap, interior door handles, and blower motor. These are wear items that go sometimes. But the list can go on in grabbing things from that car

Power antenna can be rebuilt.

Thanks, unfortunately the dash is very badly cracked. I didn't think about the hood hinges....
