Car falls asleep going uphill

My diesel is pretty fast on flat or down hills, but it can not get out of its's own way going up a hill. What gives? The car runs great though!!

If this is a new problem, I'd start by checking your fuel filter(s). Bad diesel can plug them up.

The pre-filter is clear, but I might chnage the canister filter, it has only been 6,000 miles. I did pull the intake, clean it, clean all thelines, boost switch, etc. I hear a lot about adjusting the ALDA, but I am still confused about doing that.
