In the midst of cleaning up everything to put back together the 603 engine for my 87 300D. I am looking for the newer style timing cover and thermostat/water pump housing (as found on the later 603 engines, maybe others). Since I have seen a lot of discussions on bad 350 SD/SDL engines, I was hoping that one of our members might have these available from a bad engine before I go out searching the more conventional auto salvage yards.

There's a train of 601/2/3 front cover part numbers so newer style is relative. I have a front cover and water pump from a '94 S350. I can't ship the front cover until I get the @$#%&! crank pulley bolt off, though. PM or email if interested.
