Manual Trans 240D at PnP

I posted a note about some Diesel M-Bs at the Cape Fear PnP in Wilmington, NC. I was out today and it turns out that one of them is a decent-looking 240D, 1983 according to the doorjamb tag. And it's a 4-speed! I got the end of the speedo cable housing to make into a plug for mine but other than that it looked pretty good. I forgot to look under it for rust but the outside looks pretty decent.

I had one of the parts pickers grab the part as I was clean so I wasn't doing an in-depth analysis! Anyhow, there's a whole stick shift assembly for the harvesting. The shifter seemed great and it slid effortlessly into each gear. High probability that the clutch slave is toast but that's an easy fix. Who knows why it was parked?
