Need Thread Size or Part Number - Temperature Sensor Adapter Bushing

Searched high and low with no luck. I need a part number or the thread size on the large adapter bushing that the temperature sensor threads into on the engine, behind the IP. Its an approximately 1" diameter bushing, cant even find one used on ebay. Its on an 1985 300SD. Anyone???

If no one can help you might consider getting a Thread Gauge.

I've got one, wanted to order a coolant temperature switch today, found one thats m22x1.5, which I am hoping is what that plug is. The threads are stripped out on the smaller threads... Would have to wait until i get home to take measurements..
