Since this is a complaint thread, might as well name them as I heard many stories about their customer service and return policy. ... Parts Geek . Com

Some online reviews..
Parts Geek LLC - Marlton, NJ | Yelp

They belong in the same slimy category as Adsitco.

FWIW. CarQuest was part of the same conglomerate as WorldPac and sells their parts. In turn, they are now all owned by Advanced Auto who will shortly be carrying the WorldPac catalog as well. It may not be the best pricing, however its better than most online and you get to deal with local people.

I still like Pelican Parts for tools in particular and am often surprised by their pricing. I have only once bought from the freaks place and it felt like a dark backalley deal.

The radiator that comes up for a search for a W126 diesel on their site is for a gas engine vehicle. The description says it's for a gas engine. The photo clearly has the top inlet on the wrong side. In small print at the bottom it states that it is a direct fit for the diesel, but you know that is not true and it is not going to work.

File a claim with your charge card company today.

I purchased a radiator for my '96 E300D from them. The description was for my car/engine. The photo matched my radiator. It arrived in 2 days for $8 shipping. It fit.

I think with the Internet Parts once in a while a deal goes bad; the same happens at the Local Auto Parts Store but of course it is easier to return to a local Place.

I have not ordered Big Ticket or bulky items that cost a lot to ship on the Internet so far so I have not been bit by that one.

I order about 90% of My Auto Parts on eBay as well as more than a few other things. Ebay does not always get good press but If someone sends you an item that was advertixed wrong that is "item not as described" and you are likely going to get a total refund on that but it is going to take time.

You sort of need to average the good and bad deals to see what you saved by shopping on the Internet.

I didn't realize Advance bought CarQuest. Good to know since I have one local and I really liked when this site was associated with worldpac. Some items are much cheaper under Pelican but some others were cheaper before.
