The coolest TD on the planet!

An acquaintance of mine has the coolest 300TD on the planet IMO. I thought I would share a photo:

He custom made the rack, and also a hidden hitch receiver. The interior is about a 9.5 out of 10. He is coming over tomorrow to have his car "Sandenized" so I will see if I can get more photos.

Looks pretty lovely. Those whitewalls are hot. Confirms that I will be doing something like that on my '85 once I get it painted back to the proper pearl black. More pictures would be fun to see.

Last time I saw it, I believe it had red wheels with the old "Dog Dish" style caps. It also has custom over-riders on the front bumper. I think he has plans for them in the rear as well, but we shall see. More photos in a couple days....Rich

That is a gorgeous car. The paint alone cost a few nickels, look at the depth of the reflection.

I can't have nice things like that. I don't treat my cars nicely enough. Sad but true....

Might have been my Opa supervising the paint process the day that car went through.

That's a nice looking car, however I would not want whitewalls....the clear markers are ok but seem out of place on a W123.

I love the whitewalls, since tired of seeing silly-looking cars with rubber-band tires, especially classic American cars fitted w/ 20" alloys. Brings back memories of seeing purple cadillacs w/ big "pimp-wall" tires in the 1970's.
