Yes, that's the one I saw. Thanks for posting it. I couldn't recall how to take a screen shot on my tablet!

There is allegedly a supplemental FSM paper manual that's about an inch or more thick for the 85 300D with all the missing info not on the CD. Does anyone on this forum have one?

In this earlier discussion, one forum member (Jeremy5845) appeared to have one

W123 - Differences between the 1985 300D models and others.

I learned something about starters in that thread. I had a problem once when upper end of my original engine was destroyed when turbo disintegrated. Shop found a donor engine from an 82/3 SD. But what I don't know, is if they used my original lower end.

The polish site has same manuals.
Graham, thank you so very much for your help!

What is odd is using the Polish site, they appear more clear. Do monitors have different resolution?

The Macintosh I have doesn't have a CD drive so I can't use it out in the shop, which I have done back home. Diesel911 was generous and kind and sent me a link to the Polish site so if I can find a wireless network to use, then can be more than set.

Yep. Found that page and looks like the others are there also.

I don't see however a link to the manual. I remember that thread, but didn't read due to a lack of time...

Graham, does your injection pump still have an electrical connector? If so, then at least your pump is off the prior engine. One can use a Federal starter, but requires a bit of modification. Richard posted on here a while back.
