New Non turbo radiators available again for 300d

Looks like owners of non turbo 300d's have a new radiator available again.....
I have a 1981 with a leaky radiator and up until now, they have been discontinued. Looks like Summitracing has the lowest price but when I put in my cart it said it would be special ordered and shipped on 8/1/2014

I went ahead and ordered one from Summit with a ship date of 8/1/14.
I will keep the group posted as to the status of this order.

Still not as cheap as my behr was about 4 years ago. Good thing is, since they are all metal....they will be easier to fix then the plastic....though I am sure they will rust as bad as metal radiators...

Better then nothing though!

Description on the manufacture website says they are copper core and brass tank, so they seem to be well built.

Oh wow, those do sound nice now! Don't usually see that quality radiator anymore. Now I sorta wish I needed one I could always get one for the euro as it came with a 240 radiator....since there was no ac or auto trans...

that is great news!!! they must have determined there was a market to go to the expense of tooling up for these. spectra seems to be decent. i put one in my friends 240D two years ago and it is holding up just fine. it fit perfectly as well.

I had been keeping that to myself after I found it until I had one in front of me to make sure it was the real copper/brass deal...just never got 'round to it...

This is by far the cheapest at $145
Spectra Premium~ CU672 ~

Edit: This of course will fit any W123 but has no provision for the overflow tank. It does have the ATF cooler built in though. I think it is the wider radiator unlike the 240D / NA 300D type which is a bit narrower
