83 300d window electrical

I just recently purchased an 83 300d and have been rooting through all the issues. Everything is sorted away, except for my power windows. When I excite the plugs that connect to the switches with a power probe, the windows go up and down no problem. At the fuse panel, though, I have no voltage. I have tried the switches out of my 82, and still no change. I have replaced all of the fuses with new ones, and everything else works just fine, but not the windows. Is there another relay somewhere, before the fuse panel, that I need to be aware of? Any thoughts?

I'm working from memory. On a 126, there is a relay. The FSM has a wiring diagram of sorts. The 123 is likely similar. Perhaps someone will post that section. Did you use a meter to confirm that the fuses were good and working?

There is a relay for the windows, and if none of them work, it could be the problem. It could also be that the ground is not good. Others can correct me if need be, but I think both relay and ground are behind instrument cluster. Here is diagram:

The Power Window Relay runs off of an 8 amp Fuse that is shared by some other Electrical Components.
If you still have your Fuse Chart attached to the Lid of the Fuse Box go down the list and you will find it.

The fuse diagram was different from the FSM on my 84SD and also was incorrect. Confirm the accuracy before relying on it.

Which one was correct; the Manual or the Fuse Chart?

He said he had changed all the fuses. But it's worth rechecking - Diagram says fuse 12:

In this case, the manual was correct. Three cars were involved early 84SD, late 84SD parts car and a late 85SD. The parts car apparently has characteristics of both years. Only 2 had the card (early 84 & 85). The part number of the physical fuse box is the same. Apparently the wiring is different.

Ok, pulled the cluster and replaced the relay and heard a noise from the window. Improvement at least. I pulled the switch from my 82 and plugged it in and everything works. I'm going to try and clean the switches and see what happens. Any hints or tricks?

Clean switches, new relay, everything works great. Thanks guys. On a completely unrelated note, does anyone know where I can find the rubber plugs that go on the underside of the rocker panel? I pulled them all out to check for rust, and a lot of them tore. Looking to freshen them up. Thanks again!
