I see ads top and bottom, always have. None between posts or anywhere unusual. No ad blockers used. Current Safari browser. Must be another one of those Wind-ohs things.

I have been posting on my iPad all morning...
I just fired up my windoze laptop, went into the cars for sale page to add to the post I made, and I am now getting in post ads, and thread ads... Odd. I went to get rkill, and find google results page is not responding correctly... There must be some new spyware out that hits browsers quickly... I'll investigate it soon...

when I logged in, they went AWAY

It's an internet thing made to show how much information is broadcast by your browser every time you visit a page... Restricting the use of one would be like all gas stations restricting fuel purchases because fuel is flammable ...

What ads? I've never seen any ads.
The ads are only for people who use Msft Internet Explorer [and Google Chrome?], they're beamed specifically at those users. This browser also allows me to 'erase' annoying sig blocks too.

Viewing the forum from Windows 7 using Chrome browser, I see banner ads and square box ads that are inserted into users' posts as well as added as the last post in a thread in what appears as their own "post" with a date stamp and everything.
After logging in, they went away (as vstech said). I don't think it's adware. I think it's just something the forum host has added. The IP sniffer is just to remind you that you are never anonymous on the internet. Everything you do is logged somewhere, and every packet of data you send out is able to be intercepted along the way.  When I view the sniffer as I am now (from my computer, through a router, to the internet) it gives me my true IP address. When I access the TOR array and view the sniffer through TOR, the IP shown is of the last router exiting TOR and accessing the forum. It is not my true IP. My actual IP is hidden and obscured by the many different hand-offs that take place within the TOR array.  If you do an IP look up of your own IP, some of the TOR servers that are last in line are the ones the lookup sees and they will come back as telling you that you're in a totally different country.
