According to this EPDM Chemical Compatibility Results EPDM compatibility to Silicone is excellent. If you use it to lube just the gasket (between gasket and master cyl only) and not put any of it in the reservoir, I doubt any will get into the brake fluid.

Thanks. Didn't see your post before diving in to the work. For this application, I just coated them with brake fluid. Next time I'll plan to try silicone grease.

Work is done - new seals between reservoir and master cylinder and new seals over the sensor floats. Also, new rear lines (fronts were fairly new and still good). Brakes bled and all is well. No leaks with 10psi of pressure applied from the bleeder - that's what started this whole adventure, leaks from the sensor seals during pressure bleeding and then noticing the poor shape the reservoir plugs were in.
