Since everyone here has received superior customer service from NAPA, I must be hallucinating about the local NAPA jerking their customers around.......

Having worked at Napa before...my experience was very positive. Very knowledgable staff and decent parts for aftermarket. I still go there if given the choice of stores, unfortunately it is far from the most convenient for me (advance is 2mins down the road).

It happens occasionally while searching thru this site for answers that Ill come across older threads were Phil has chimed to help someone with their MB ,I didnt know Phil but after reading some of these threads I feel I kind of do.

When this Forum started back in 1999 it was named mercedeshop.com, and I seem to remember reading a thread that Phil was one of the original plank owners of the site. Bill Woods owned it, but there were a few people in the beginning that were instrumental in getting it up and running. And Phil was one of them.
