...so the choice will be a darker colour to suit the pinkomino I've got.

You can counteract that with color matching hubcaps and white wall tires

I haven't considered orange on the W123 - but I think it might go quite nicely with wide boy alloy wheels on the (199) W201...
Even though I'm a purist at heart, I'd say it can look nice with Chevy Orange. Depending on your interior color, I've never seen the car. I'm assuming it's palomino or the like since that was most common with Manganese even on Euro cars.

Thumbs up

You should choose any colour if this colour is original one.

Huh
But Mr. Ford has chosen black color for the objective reasons...
I offer some kind of the objective variant also.

Oh I see - any colour that was originally used. Thanks. That narrows it down!

That Cypress Green is a uniquely beautiful car. Although it looks to be a European model to me. I voted for original.

Nice car. My W124 cab was totaled in the grocery store parking lot

Editing- I see Stretch is from The Netherlands, so Eurospec makes sense. Still love the green, still vote for brown, for all the reasons stated above...

Stretch, be prepared for a new onslaught. This just got sent out in the PP email blast.

I personally want to keep more Manganese Brown cars on the road, since mine was taken from me...

Completely biased here, but the malachite (spruce) green metallic that showed up in the 124s is just stunning. I can only base that on 20+ years as a daily driver in all conditions and this original paint to show for it:

My favorite W123 color of all time: German Taxi! I think the correct name is Manila Beige.

I voted for petrol green since my 82 300D is the same color and it always received compliments. Though they're not listed, may I also suggest 881 silberdistel/silver thistle (my 300SD is that shade), 587 pajettrot/Cabernet Red, or 199 schwarzblau/Black Pearl.
