Yep, 24 mm on the 01 filter head, 22 mm on the 02, definitely not 19 mm on either one.

Hmmm... the bolt head on the 01 filter housing on my 82 300D-T takes a 22 mm.

Went to ace, they weren't very big and definitely not organized so had no way of looking up the part you guys shared but I found some fiber crush washers regardless. I crank one down in there and i seem to have stopped the leak. Gonna do a diesel purge this weekend so after that i'm going to install a new filter and a new brash washer and see if i can get that to seal up this time.

Ace can be pretty useful. It's usually a hardware store that's not a lumber yard. 1/2 the size right there. They also have stuff hard to find in in other places, probably due to pay for shelving or similar stocking agreements- Shoo goo shoe repair cement is a good example- incredibly useful for shoe repair and lots of other stuff, but not a Henkel/Loktite or gorilla glue product, therefore not found at home depot. 3M Scotch window films, another example Sno King just does not compare. Cannot be found in any big box, easy to find in ace stores.

Sorry my mistake. I had it backwards. Just checked my 85 with the 02 filter head and it is 24 mm
