Amusing 300SD Interchange
 

For the past nine years, on my drive to work I've admired this beautiful black 1984 300SD sitting in a driveway on a Providence side street. Sometimes the car is there, sometimes not, but never once in nine years have I laid eyes on the owner....until today.

I see him standing by the car, so I stop and get out, tell him I've always admired his SD, etc...

I said, "If you ever decide to sell...."

He replied, "I'd sooner sell my left testicle."

122,000 miles, he's the original owner. Car looks absolutely perfect....which is saying something for 30 years in Rhode Island!

So what's the price on his left testicle? I know a guy who might be in the market.

It's been a while since I've been in the market for a testicle, so I didn't ask the price.

Didn't shake his fist but, yeah, seemed pretty resolute in hanging on to his car. Good for him.
