87 300D Blower motor fusible link
Mine cracked in half, since it's Sunday I can't get one and was thinking of putting in a generic piece of 30 amp fusible link in it's place. Anyone see a problem with that?

During a recent project of replacing nearly the entire AC system on my 300D, I wondered the same thing.
In the end I decided to leave it all "as is". Personally I wanted to keep the car as close to factory as possible and the fuses rarely fail if the system components are all good. On a common note, the corrosion of the connections seems to play a part in blown blower fuses. The ignition switch contacts too.

So we ended up just using a different car today. Looking in the Pelican catalog the fuse that looks like it carries the part number 000-545-20-34 but Pelican is calling it the rear window heater strip fuse. Is this the correct part?
