part number of chain rail pin

I've stripped the threads in the pin that holds the chain rail tensioner in. Does anyone know that part number for this?

Would you describe its position more clearly.... I have my manuals here and will try to find it... from the crank... what clock position is it ?

And it might help if you say what engine you are dealing with ......

I ask because due to what you say you broke.... I think you are using the wrong description of the part.
Tell me as close as possible its location on the engine..

You might can find it by clicking on the parts catalog tab at the top of this page..

He has a 300SD, so would be a 617 engine. either a 617.950 or 951.

Would be good to add to your signature what vehicle/s you have.

Think the part is in this diagram

CAMSHAFT AND CHAIN DRIVE. Fits: Mercedes | Mercedes-Benz of South Atlanta

That's what I was looking for!
Thanks for finding it even with my poor description of the part.
