Oil In The Wast Gate Tube

I WAS LOOKING AT THE ENGINE TODAY AND NOTICED THAT THERE WAS OIL IN THE LINE THAT CLOSES THE THE WAST GATE ON THE TURBO IS THIS NORMAL IF IT IS NOT THEN WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THIS OIL, HOW SHOULD IT BE FIX...

FWIW, mine does that too. I wouldnt worry about it. Maybe see if the wastegate hose is brittle and cracking. If so, replace it.

WASTGATE

WALKNIGHT IT IS UNDER THE AIR CLEANER ON MY 82 300SD THE HOSE THE I AM TALKING ABOUT LOOKS LIKE A RUBER FUEL LINE THAT GOSE FROM THE MANIFOLD BY THE EGR TO A CANISTER ON THE TURBO.

Thanks; I was just looking at that yesterday. Mine is oily and starting to deteriorate. Time for a new one I guess.
