I believe in the UK and in AUS with public subsidized TV they don't have advertisers to offend so they can be more raunchy and politically incorrect . The British sense of humor is far better IMHO . The U.S. is overly sensitized I think . Mr Clarkson would have been asked to quit this year if it was in the US. UK Top Gear is the best period . I've watched most US ones and they try . The chemistry just ain't there . The AUS version isn't as bad .
