I just wanted to say thank you to everyone in this thread. I finally got fed up with my transmission leak and decided to get this dealt with once and for all. By following the advice in this thread and taking my time (took 4.5 hours to complete, good thing I'm not billing by the hour), I got the job done without too much incident.

I drained out 4.2 quarts and added nearly 7 quarts. After doing 20 miles with it, no leaks yet *crosses fingers*.

Again, thanks to everyone in this thread and this forum.
