My heat does not work too well so like every other w124 problem its the mono valve ?

is it worth buying one from the dealer for $128 ? I tried buying used ended up with two valves that did not look much like mine for some reason seems like my 93 have an odd one dealer looked it up with the vin so its a straight replacement.


Do you think a repair kit is worth trying ? its close to $40 from a local parts store

I'm friends with the yard owner. He charges me $10 or $20 no matter what size pile of little crap I have. Many times he just waves me by. Old switches, vacuum pods and the like don't have much value to him.

Lights, trannys, sheet metal etc do. I don't steal anything. I figure it's bad karma and would ask for it free if broke or do without.

Yea I wasnt planning on stealing anything because it not what I was brought up learnig, just wondering where you get free parts

Does the yard owner needs to make new friends ? haha
