Sealant '001 989 46 20' and the front cylinder crankcase cover?
Working on repair job '01-215' for those FSM followers. I went to replace the front main today and it appears the PO had someone remove the crankcase cover and glop it full of RTV along with the old West Germany stamped front main.
In any event, I am not having any luck finding that proper sealant at the usual distributors. Can anyone shed some light if this has been superseded by something and if so, what? I have Reinzosil here, but am not positive that will work in this spot. Last I want to do is tear the front end off again to reseal. Thanks

toyota FIPG 103 - available at your "toy" dealer for 12 bucks a tube.
threebond 1207b - also available at NAPA as aisin engine sealant. once applied and installed - you are done.

Permatex makes gray euro type silicone. It sets up stiffer than the blue / black or red.
