W210 Seat Belt Receptacle
On my 98, the center rear seat belt receptacle is missing the outer casing. But the mechanism itself works fine. According to Mercedes (and this is just classic Mercedes), it is not possible to purchase just the casing. Instead, the right and center receptacle and the harness between them are sold as one unit for $127. Not doing that.
I RARELY have a need to accommodate a center passenger. But, when I do, I want him/her to be safe. I'm pretty sure they'd be safe with receptacle as is. But it would be nice to get a cover on the mechanism. Any ideas?
