Best online source for Gates Barricade fuel line?

Biting the bullet and replacing my fuel line from the tank to the engine. I'm still getting air in the system somewhere, and that line is literally the only part of the fuel system to be replaced. Local stores want $2/ft, anywhere else doing better?

Thank you!

I agree, and it's inexpensive from Summit racing supply.

I only use Barricade hose for short sections where metal tube is impractical. Twelve bucks did everything that needed to be flexible.

I like that! Is aluminum best or would steel be better?

I think Road Salt can eat up either Steel or Aluminum so I guess it depends on where you live.

Isn't there also Nylon Tubing. However, not sure how you would attach a Hose to it reliably.

I recently had to replace some fuel lines on a 73 celica and all the parts shops recommended brake lines but finding a long length was a challenge. These have a good coating of something to prevent rusting out and are relatively inexpensive.

There is that easily bendable Conifer Brake line. However, it had a lot of Nickle in it. Not sure what Diesel Fuel does to it.

However, the regular Fuel Tubing on the Mercedes has an OD of about 5/16". Does Brake Line go that large?

There is Nylon and Plastic Tubing that goes that large.

Common PEX tube works well for fuel line and adapts easily to a wide range of fittings.
Use these to connect to flexible Barricade hose.

Many different imperial and metric brake line diameter sizes are available the ones I needed were 3/8 inch. It was a thin wall design so they would distort easy with a bending tool I ended up sand filling before bending a real PITA.
