fuel filter change no start where to bleed ?

on the W210 I changed the fuel filter filled it and put it back and car wont start it coughed for a little but wont turn over

I hear a click under hood when key is turned over battery got weak and need to be either replaced or charged now

If I have to bleed the lines where to I crack them open ? right out the pump ? or under the black cover where they go into the engine ?

Quickest solution is at the injectors. That gets air out of the entire system.

you have to hold the key while cranking; don't let go of the key... crank it no longer than 10-15 seconds then stop for one minute. has something to do with starter burning out if cranked for too long. then repeat if needed for 2 or 3 times.

Crack em at the injectors and as stated crank for a little while (I always hold throttle on floor during cranking), let starter rest and repeat. Not unusual to have to charge the battery a time or two. You should eventually see fuel coming out of injector lines with #6 showing up first. As you get fuel coming out go ahead and snug em down till you get about 4 going then it should crank/run.

refill the pre-filter and canister filter both. Then have a go at it with a freshly charged battery. If it starts to cough keep cranking and crank a couple extra secs after you "think" it caught.

+1/2 tank of fuel helps as does having the rear end a tad higher than the front. gravity.

Prefilter is at the start of the fuel path (line 1 plugs into the top of it). Canister filter is in the middle of the fuel path. See link. fuelflow.JPG (image)

The clicking thing is probably your GP relay.

Where do I get a GP relay ? Is that the one with a power red wire a big plug and a small plug ? Mounted on the fender behind the ABS module ?

Will the engine turn over when you turn the key to start? Let's try to focus on getting fuel to the injectors before we worry about the clicking unless it won't turn over. The clicking and instrument cluster flickering sounds like you have a poor connection. You don't have a battery charger?

Nothing as if battery is dead

Battery is 12.34 v at terminals and at +ve terminal and the fender metal I am getting 11.5

Key to ACC the gauge flickers and noise clicking climate comes on on its on as well !

I can't imagine how a connection became bad when all was touched is the battery terminals off and on and now the relay clicks like crazy

And no attempt to start at all just at acc it clicks

I will unplug it and spray it with electric connector cleaner and see how it goes

How do they look? Are you sure the battery got a full charge? That is about all that is left.
